I just had to share this fizzy lemonade recipe with you. It’s perfect for the recovering soft drinkers out there!
Have you ever had one of those days when you just want something bubbly to drink? I have those moments regularly! There is just something about the fizz and bubbles that delight my tongue. And I will be the first to admit that I used to drink a lot of soda. So when I began learning more about what was actually IN soda and chose to give them up, I missed having a little carbonation in my life.
Fast forward several years. I was REALLY wanting to drink something carbonated. So I picked up some sparkling spring water and lemon. I added in some stevia for sweetness and voila….my own, sweet, bubbly, wonderful fizzy lemonade!
I love this lemonade. No, you don’t understand….I really LOVE this lemonade. It doesn’t matter if it’s summer or winter, I make this lemonade almost every night! It has really helped to fill the soda void for me. I am able to have my bubbles, and the lemon is great for helping to detoxify the liver….bonus! It is incredibly low in calories (less than 20). It is just very satisfying to drink.
I love that this recipe is sugar-free too! And of course, it is both gluten and grain-free as well.
