Balsamic Vinaigrette

Dressing made easy!

For some reason today, I was craving a salad. Not the kind with iceburg lettuce, but one with fresh organic spring greens. So I decided that I would try to create a good balsamic vinaigrette recipe to go with it. Now, let me say that I’ve never been the biggest fan of balsamic vinegar because it has always been just a bit too tangy for me.

So I looked at a few different recipes, and this is what I created. This balsamic vinaigrette was so good, that my salad actually tasted like the type you would purchase at a fine dining establishment. I will definitely use this as my go to vinaigrette!

I do recommend that you choose an organic balsamic vinegar. Most conventional brands of balsamic vinegar contain caramel coloring, which is a known cancer causing carcinogen and best to avoid. Certified organic brands are not allowed to use caramel coloring.

This vigaigrette also makes a great marinade for chicken. I’ve used it a few times for that and it’s given my chicken a wonderful taste.

This vinaigrette is naturally gluten free.
