You may have gone and had a massage before, but what about a mental massage? When you’re feeling stressed and overwhelmed, sometimes you need a little help to relax. Stress can be overwhelming at times, especially if you’re sensitive. And since stress has been linked to the majority of chronic illnesses it is important to do what you can to reduce it!
Many experts recommend meditation to help calm the nervous system and reduce stress. But when your mind is going 100 mph, it can be challenging to focus your mind long enough to actually meditate successfully. That’s where things like guided meditations and progressive relaxations come in handy! Both can give you something to focus your mind on to help quiet it. I regularly use guided relaxation and meditation recordings when I’m overwhelmed and my monkey mind won’t stop.
This progressive relaxation is a short one that I recorded several years ago. It’s less than 10 minutes long, but can quickly and effectively help you to release stress and boost your energy. It’s a great tool to add to your stress management toolbox!
This mental massage progressive relaxation is meant to be done during the day. Don’t use it while driving a car or doing anything else that requires your full attention. It’s best to use this when you have time to really focus on the recording, in a place where you can be free from other distractions and disruption.
Make sure to follow my YouTube channel so that you can get additional recordings as they are added!
