Instant Pot Sausage Rice Soup

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 pound ground turkey or pork sausage
  • 3 cups broth
  • 1 lg carrot peeled and sliced
  • 1 stalk celery chopped
  • 1/2 cup onion chopped
  • 1/2 cup white rice soaked, but uncooked
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt

Instructions
 

  • Turn Instant Pot on Saute
  • Add the ground sausage and saute until browned
  • Add onions, carrots, celery, and garlic
  • Saute until onions are translucent
  • Hit the Cancel button
  • Add broth and seasoning
  • Replace lid, and press the soup button. Set for 9 minutes cook time
  • Once done cooking, let naturally release for at least 5 minutes. After that you can either quick release and serve, or allow it to naturally release fully
